While many sports are unable to function at all, the PDC has found a way to keep us entertained with a darts tournament from home. The PDC Home Tour is a fantastic idea to keep some kind of sport in the public eye, and has created a new wave of interest for betting on darts. The tournament is currently coming to the end of the first round.
This has consisted of a total of 32 nights of action, with the winner of each group moving onto the second round, which will begin at the end of May.

Here we take a look at the three games that are set to shape this group of four on Saturday night.
Gary Anderson vs Dirk Van Duijvenbode
Anderson was due to make his entrance into the tournament much earlier than this, but internet problems left him without the ability to play. That is now all sorted, and Anderson comes here as favourite to win the group and one of the favourites for the tournament overall.
We often hear Anderson saying that his biggest struggle is adapting his practice game to the big stage, something he doesn’t have to do here. Playing at home should give him the freedom to relax and perform well.
This is his first game of the tournament and one he should win with ease against the 79 seed Van Duijvenbode and it will be worth backing him on the handicap line.
Dimitri Van Den Bergh vs Kim Huybrechts
A battle between two players from Belgium takes place here, two popular players on the tour. The feeling is that whoever wins this game will be the challenger to Gary Anderson for top spot in the group, and bring their first game of the night, it is a big one to kick things off.
Van Den Bergh is a player who thrives on the crowd, which he doesn’t have here. However, he’s also the one that consistently shows his talent and that is set to be key here.
We fancy Van Den Bergh to grind out a win here, setting up a likely winner takes all clash with Anderson later in the night.
PDC Home Tour Group 30 Winner
The class act in this group is Gary Anderson. Based on what we see from him on stage, he is a class above the three other players in this group. We hear he is even better on the practice board, the type of environment that these games are to be played in.
He will be raring to go here after being denied the chance to start on time due to internet troubles. We expect big things from the Scot, and he is our selection to win this group outright.
